Just mix up the target, place the chalk on top and shoot the target with your centerfire rifle from at least 100 yards away to trigger a colorful explosion accompanied by a satisfying boom.

It is suggested that you use a .223 caliber or higher for shooting these targets.

If you really want a good explosion, open the lid with the contents, take out the packet that is inside, pour the contents of the container into a baggie. Pour the contents of the packet into the baggie and seal the baggie shut. Mix until the two components are well mixed. Slightly open the baggie and squeeze all of the air out then tightly wrap the baggie in duct tape. 

Try to be safe and do not use your target to make something explode where the pieces can injure or kill someone.
